Sylvie Kremerskothen Gleason

Sylvie Kremerskothen Gleason works on a wide range of programs to improve animal welfare in Germany and the wider region. She has a background in communications, media relations and management. Before joining HSI, she held a senior position at a German nonprofit, where she managed major donors, corporate partnerships and CSR strategies (social responsibility initiatives).

Growing up in the countryside near her grandparents’ farm, which housed a wide variety of animals, Gleason developed a deep understanding of agricultural challenges, as well as a passion for animal protection. Later, while living in the U.S., she adopted former stray dog Ella from a shelter in Minneapolis. Both now live in Germany.
